i think the first two are awesome. they are good entertaining movies for kids that aren't completely miserable for older people. i am 19 and find myself completely enthralled whenever it comes on the television. and zach efron isnt too hard to look at for 2 hours at a time either :)
i dont like any of them mainly because i like funny and scary movies or just good stories not musicals

They are probably the cheesiest movies I have ever seen in my life. The actors and actresses are not talent, with pop-y voices that don't even deserve to be on American Idol. I have a question in response to your question, why is high school musical famous when it is extremely tacky, childish, and full of no talent wanna be bratty teenagers?
its overated and dumb. people are soo obsessed with it. come on get a life seriously! the songs are ok dut most of the dancing looks horrible especially in bet on it. i mean seriously whats troys problem in that one??
I like high school musical 1. The general plot was good but the songs were kind of cheesy. High school musical two and three , I don't like so much. The original is always better than the sequal.
I think it's great and entertaing for kids...
But it's horrible that Vanessa Hudgens disappointed millions of her fans because of her nude pictures.
I honestly do feel bad for her.
they shouldn't make a third one nor should they had made a second one and they shouldn't have even thought of making the first one cause it all sucks ***! why you ask? cause its stupid and zac effron is gay! all those guys are gay and half the girls are 30!! yup look it up!
i've only seen #1 and thought it waz funny that the basketball team made fun of zac's singing and dancing when they sang and danced more then him!! =X Lmfao. Darn hypocrites!!

I thought HSM was totally stupid at first. There was so much hype about it, that finally we watched it to see what the big deal was. Man was it ever corny! I hated it, and I still think the guy who plays Troy is wimpy and ugly. But those songs are SOOOOOOOOOO catchy! We bought the soundtracks and, I confess, the whole family sings along full-tilt!

Yes the music is catchy (as much as i hate to admit it) however the acting and the rest is just crap!

The first one wasn't so bad, but yeah it was cheesy, and Vanessa's acting practically ruined for it me. The second was terrible. Cheesy scenes (Zac on the golf course) the knock off songs- everyday sounded like oh happy day from sister act 2, and it was pretty dumb. Who knows how the third one is going to come out like...
