They were actually friends long before he died. She just tell it like she sees it! I saw her in an interview before and that's where she said they were always friends.
not that i know about, she didnt even attend the funeral, its been about 20 or 30 years since they last spoke, some things are better left unsaid.

Why the hell should she feel bad? That's like me beating the crap out of you, raping you, controlling you and then you tell everyone about it, and my life spirals out of control like it was probably going to anyway..and then you'd feel bad about it? Come on. She might have felt bad for his sad and sorry existence in his final days but I doubt she was crying like "Maybe I shouldn't have been so mean to the person who ruined my life and forced me to be stronger and more successful in spite of him."

Ike has passed on, but he had also admitted that he did strike Tina on multiple occations, and was impossible to deal with while he was on drugs and drinking.
He destroyed how he was perceived all by himself. He did have a great deal of musical and creative talent, but choose to love the drugs and booze more than his wife and children.

tina is a buddhist and all about forgiving other people. florence p is correct that she and ike remained in contact and friends up until he died. in fact, tina's son and her mother were still being taken care of by ike up until her mother passed a few years ago. the feud angle is good for television and movies, but they had stopped fighting by the 1990s.
