She is one of the few actors who actually want to be recognized for their work and not for their personnel lives (e.g. Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Tom Cruise, Michael Jackson, etc).

Thus far, she is making efforts to support her ideals and beliefs. While a bit liberal and "fluffy" to me, I don't hate her activism, but she may soon outgrow this phase.
It's good she isn't doing any of the above you mentioned.
