Question: Who are the opening acts for Avril Lavigne for her "The Best Damn Tour" in 2008. In Vancouver.
I heard that Boys Like Girls was one of them, but that they were for a different leg of the tour...Has anyone heard anything?

You're right. Boston rockers Boys Like Girls will open for Avril in Vancouver and throughout her North American tour , from March 5 through May 9.
From there, Avril will take her tour to the UK and Europe, where an opening band has not yet been announced.
