EEww... Inappropriate pattern, needs more skin showing, too modest-old-lady look, too ancient Egyptian for my liking, and the cut is making her look too pear-shaped, she needs something that is shorter and maybe flares out at the hips, I also recommend different sleeves - COMPLETELY different sleeves!!!
I would say how to alter it better, I'm good with fashion, and I'm doing GCSE Textiles, but all I can say is... aaaahhhhh!!!!! Fashion DISASTERRRR!!!

Ugh! Welcome back 1974. Not attractive or flattering to her.
Absolutely horrible! Even if you look at it from a designers point of view. I am sure this outfit will land her on somone's worst dressed or what was she thinking list. It is a horrible frock with some inappropriately placed patterns. YUCK!
I don't like it but it would look so much better if the dress had a v-neck to it and showed some skin, was a little shorter for the bottom and the sleeves and the right jewelry should be worn that is not real bright and flaunty.

It's very tribal,probably has a meaningful story to it,.i admire the work gone into it,but i couldn't wear it.

Its okay if you trying to hide something (ex. tatoos, skin problem). I'm a firm believer of show off what you got. I personally think there are many other dresses out there that are better than this one.

I'm really sorry but that dress is the WORST!! It covers up so much of her body and it makes her kind of look like an Egyptian. I think it looks HORRIBLE!!!! I would NEVER wear that dress. If you like it or maybe designed it, I think it's okay...for someone else. I'm just one person so it's really a one person opinion. Maybe try a different design.
