I think he should buy a home for Heather & their daughter, make it safe & secure, pay for its maintenance & upkeep & give her an allowance for them to live on & pay the bills with each month. However, I don't think she should have a lump sum of cash as she is perfectly capable of making her own living. She insists she is no gold-digger so she should be happy with that.
He should make it a condidtion that she keeps her mouth shut about their lives together & since. If she breaks the condidtion, he takes Beatrice to live with him, & all deals are off. She does not deserve huge chunks of his cash because she has done nothing to help him earn it. He had already amassed his fortune before he met her.
He should also set up a trust fund for Beatrice that no-one can get to until she is around 25 & mature enough to handle it herself.
He should buy her a plane, or failing that, some sandpaper.
