It's the teeny bopper thing. Once one person likes them everyone must like them just to continue to have something to talk about. I remember when I was younger it was the New kids on the block lol.
they attract the younger crowds (majority of the people on here haha). plus the jonas brothers are super cute.

i think that the number of people that are obsessed with miley and the jonas brothers is publicized as being higher than actual. but right now they're the hottest "teen" stars with the highest "tween" attraction, and the "tween" population is getting a ton of publicity in this day and age, as commercials are being targetting towards them increasingly more. I think they're just the current 'hot' thing right now.
As a teenage girl, I find the jonas brothers unattractive and not that great at singing, and their lyrics are only so-so, so it bothers me a little that they're so huge. But when kids under 20 start making millions, people notice.

I'm not obsessed with Miley. I can't stand her.
But the Jonas Brothers...I love their music, their lyrics, the way their songs really hit home. If I like an artist's music, and their songs really speak to me, I'll love the artist. Not because of the way they look, but the way their music is, and how they behave (or not) in public. And I think the Jonas Brothers (so far) have been really good role models (unlike Miley, who keeps getting in more and more trouble every other day). First it was the ticket prices, then the body double thing, and kissing some girl, and not buckling up, and the constant lying about dating Nick Jonas (which was never true, and it's still not true, otherwise Nick would've admitted he was dating Miley) and what next? I don't even want to know anymore about that girl.
And the sad thing is I used to like Miley when she first became famous. But then I liked her less and less as she got bigger + bigger, and now all that fame's gone to her head. You can tell by the way a person acts if they deserve the fame they get, and for Miley, she doesn't. She doesn't have that much talent (I know better singers at my school, and they're smart enough to not want to end up like her), and Miley's only famous because of her dad. She didn't have to work for it like the Jonas Brothers did.
Even with all the fame the JB are getting, they're still really humble and grounded. And they're all way more talented than Miley will ever be, but they're underrated, because a lot of people think they're gay (because they don't date, but that's because they're too busy being on tour, and being in a different city every day, and writing music, and recording an album, and filming their TV show + movie).
So I don't care what they look like as much as I care about who they really are, what they say, what they do. If they're genuine, which I think the Jonas Brothers are, then I'll like them. But Miley is so fake, it's not even funny.

according to miley, no one ever knew that she and nick were together so how could they broken up? and as for rumors that shes jealous of nicks female fans:

okay she acted like an annoying ****** here but thats what i think. like shes confusing to understand. on her last interview, she said dat she dont like nick..... idk but she just confuses me and i dont get why people like her.

just cause ppl like them, they're like their idols, and for a good reason, both miley cyrus and nick jonas are in forbes top under 18 idols. one of my friend's idol is miley and she doesn't even like her music that much its just the person that she is. and nick jonas is such an amazing inspiration having diabetes. You might not like either of them singing wise perhaps but they're both great role models.
