They aren't important. Celebs get paid to attend, and whoever wins is who wants the most publicity.
it's important for filmmakers, musicans, actors, coz their work will aknowlidged as best
They are awards shows for the movie, music, and television industries respectively. And they are important to the people in those industries. Yea, sure we know about all the movies stars and the TV actors and singers but the awards just aren't for them. They are also for the creative people behind the media that we consume everyday, like editors, writers, producers, directors, costume design etc.
