Question: Hey, something just real quick! How exactly did the Jonas Brothers get started!? I'm not sure if it was someone in there family or something but how exactly did they become so big?

All of the people above were kind of close, but actually....
NICK was discovered at a barber shop by a woman whose child had done some Broadway things. She gave him the name of a manager and they called the manager, and that is how he got started on Broadway. Joe started to do Broadway after he saw how much fun Nick was having. Nick sang in a annual Christmas CD that the people from Beauty and The Beast did, and he sang this song, Joy to the World (A Christmas Song) (amazing song btw, you can get it on itunes) then he was discovered and signed by Columbia. He made a solo album, which was called Nicholas Jonas, which DID have a limited release. Joe and Kevin asked Nick if they could write a song with him, and they wrote Please Be Mine (which had a version on his solo, and a different version on It's About Time), and sung it for the record company, and they decided to sign all three of them as a group. So, then they put out their first album, Its About Time (which is called that because 1) a couple of the songs are about time, i.e. Time For Me To Fly, One Day At A Time, and 2) it was about time that it finally came out). After that they were dropped by Columbia, and Hollywood Records signed them.
Yeah, so, as you can tell, I LOVE the Jonas Brothers! They are the best!
The got discovered in a soda shop by an agent and it's all history from there.

nick and joe were doing a broadway thing and from there they got discover by like the morning shows and then disney
i'm not sure but i do know that Nick had a solo cd called Dear god
Nick went with his mom to get her hair cut. He randomly started singing. Some lady saw him and asked if he was ever on broadway. He decided to go on broadway at the age of 7. Then he recorded a solo album with columbia records. They liked his brothers with him, so they never released nick's album, they did It's About Time. Then due to poor sales (cuz of poor promotion), columbia dropped them. Hollywood records wasn't slow in picking them up. When they signed with Hollywood, they pretty much signed into the Disney family. and that's how they got to where they are today.
well nick did broadway shows...nick was getting his hair cut when he got discovered... & then nick came out with a solo album.. then him & his brothers came out with an album of their own
