Why do people always think negative about celebrities?!
Question: I mean, all I hear is,
"Oh, Miley will be pregnant next year. She'll turn out to be just like the rest of them."
"Britney's going to die in a few months. She'll never get better."
If you can think positive about yourself, you can think positive about people you don't know. I think that if people have others backing them up, bad things won't happen. It's almost as if they want Miley to get pregnant or they want Britney to die.
Give me your thoughts on this.

If you're a public figure, it's obvious that everyone will judge you. They could be going to get icecream and the magazines are all over it whereas you go and noboby cares. People also judge by the celebrities teens by who came before them. People say Hollywood gives them a bad influence so they automatically say she's gonna do this and that. But they don't focus on the stars who don't do this and just because a few do they focus on them because it's more 'juicy'. Probably about 5/1000 child stars will do this. I personally hate it when pepople assume on celebs because they wouldn't assume that on their own kids and friends. It's the same thing! AH!

it's either that or it's out of pure jealousy. why can't we be happy for one another?
cuz ppl are stupid and jealous cuz they dont get that much attention... and cuz lots of ppl dont have tht talent...
I think your thought is reasonable, but one problem. People got famous and were doing a great job.. but everyone is jealous of someone eventually.
That's when rumors start.
When the rumors start, it gets everywhere, and then people start LOOKING for bad things that they do.
They are just jealous because they don't have what those people have.
Because the famous seem to think they are above other when it comes to personal adversity. I blame the media and the public's appetite for wanting to hear gossip. Everyone loves a good scandal.
Miley probably "did" all three of the Jonas brothers and won't know who is the father of her future baby...britney spears won't die..but i want her to...i don't want to be a celebrity so count me out as jelous. They are just so fake
i agree! it really buggs me too when people say "oh i hate her/him" i mean its not like you even know them!! How can you hate someone you dont even know. I suppose people like to hear gossip and as humans we crave dirt and scandalous gossip. I mean if Miley was pregnant she would be the talk of the town! I suppose also celebrities are easy targets to 'diss' because its not like you know them. Its like an excuse to b*tc*.
The media obsession / attention is now ridiculous. I think that there needs to be a higher standard in the industry. I'm not even a Britney fan, but it would seem clear she is not well and I think the media is perpetuating her problem.
Every night I check the news and there is often as much about Britney as people dying, killing, tragedy and the politics that we live by.
Priorities.....

Think about it, of course they screw up, they take an uneducated, immature, narcicist and throw piles of money at them. What do people expect?

i SOOOOO agree with Dark Helmet!! the public do love gossip and if there isnt any then rumours are the next best thing.
also, its what people are predicting, because at the rate things are going now that is what will happen. e.g. miley wears skirts which can pass for belts and so much make up that she looks like a clown sometimes. the next worse thing for her to do would be to get pregnant.
britney has already been to rehab a million times, lost her kids, crashed cars, binge drinking, drugs, smoking, made herself look ugly and released crap songs. the next worse thing for her to do would be to die. so that is why people say these things.
positive is a great way to think, but you still have to use common sense, remember things that could happen, or have happened, you can still be positive, but still cautious
because the girls get jealous when boys talk about female celebrities. and boys get jealous when girls talk about male celebrities. so people say rude things to them.
I think it comes down to envy.
Celebs tend to be people who are extroverted, world travelers, well paid, good looking, successful, active in the community and in politics. They get the best tables in restaurants, they're rich, have access to people we don't, are able to influence the rest of us when we can't influence them etc..
They also tend to do more with their lives than the rest of us do.
They just have more and since everyone to some degree has an ego, it can hurt if in your own life things are not quite going as you'd like and you flick on the telly and there is Mr. Celeb just oozing success. If you have a real bad ego, it can be overwhelming and lead to emotions that spill over into negativity towards the object that is making you feel inferior.
Sad, but true and probably inevitable.

You know I don't think negatively about all celebrities..
But when they are calling their children bad names and they have pictures taken by friends and kids of them falling down drunk...making racial statements, singers cheating on their wifes and a variety of other things.. I tend to think that way!
Wow! I don't genarally think negativelly about celebs, but I do think that about Miley, because she's so young, and she's so exploited. I like Miley, and I don't want that to happen to her, but being a teen is hard enough sometimes, you go though so much like peer pressure and it must be something else with the whole world watching, she's a child star and a role model so it's like God forbid she make a mistake, and that's why I think Britney ended up that way. Like when Britney went in that bathroom barefoot people made such a big deal about it, but it was so ordianairy, but since she's Britney Spears, people made it extraordinairy. Everybody doesnt' mean to be mean, but it's like the same thing happens over and over again. Like child stars rarely survive child stardom, by that I mean they rarely grow up happy, and working. Most child stars end up on drugs, or you never hear from them again, some of them just become an absolute train wreck.
Usually, those people who are consistently badmouthing celebrities generally have a negative attitude in all areas of their lives,not just where celebrities are concerned. In short, they're just unhappy people with unfulfilling lives.
Why are they like that?
Some of it's just jealousy...pure and simple. A number of those people are frustrated or failed entertainers themselves...but they settled for other things and haven't reconciled themselves to the facts that they will never be famous or "successful" in the same way some of the stars are.
Also laziness. Rather than building oneself up or looking for ways to improve themselves, they have to tear someone else down. Why? similar reasons as I mentioned before.
It could also be a way of deflecting from their own faults. If people are paying attention to celebrities flaws, maybe the folks in the neighborhood won't notice the everyday person's flaws? At least that's their hope. Also if no one notices their foibles, then they don't have to be accountable.
Most of those naysayers wouldn't last a day as a Hollywood celebrity or in any high profile position...they're usually as thin skinned as they are acid tongued...and no one wants to work with those types...let alone admire them.
