Question: I've been on some blogs before for Beyonce, and Janet Jackson, and someone called me a STAN. I think it may mean like a super fan or something. Please explain.

stan would mean an overly-obsessive fan who (as in the case of the song) would go to lengths such as killing himself and his pregnant wife because his celebrity won't write back.
