Who won, Prince or Michael Jackson?!
Question: Those of you who remember the 80s should remember the rivalry between Prince and Michael Jackson. At the time I thought Mike was the best hands down. Even though I loved Purple Rain and the whole nine yards, I didn't think nothing could compare to Thriller. However, I'm re-thinking my choice. Reflecting back, Prince may not have been more popular but he definitely did some great music and he appears to have been the sanest of the two! What do ya think?

Prince wins hands down! This man actually wrote and writes,produces and composes his own music,also he plays something like 30 instruments, something ridiculuous like that! He is kind of a weirdo but when it comes to talent I think he takes home the trophy.....
Oh and there is NO confusion about Prince's sexual orientation, he LOVES women,it's a fact!
I would say Michael had a much bigger impact than Prince.
This is quite tough, even for me. Though (we have to admit) Prince nor MJ are "Award" winning actors, they are wonderful and talented musicians. In the sense of multi-instrumentalist, Prince wins. In the sense of performance and dance, Michael Jackson wins.

Both were good performers and funnily both have confusing sexual orientation. But when you look at vocal capability, talent, stage presence and performance, it would be Michael Jackson, hands down.
I remember as a kid, I used to really enjoy his performances but now when I hear his songs, I can;t believe how big and strong his voice was. The notes that he can hit are amazing!
i would say Michael! he wrote and composed many of his songs! he has the number 1 selling album! Prince is also a huge artist but i think MJ is just that little more talented with the dancing and everything!
