I am a big fan of Michael Jackson but my friends think he's a freak but i do!
Question: he is also on my ipod and i have photos and videos of him on my ipod as well. i dont like showing people my ipod because i know they might think i'm weird or something. i am thinking about taking him off of my ipod but i dont want to because i love his music. i know i should not care what other people think but you know how it is. i want to fit in but still have michael jackson on my ipod.

I feel the same way..I talk about michael Jackson to all my friends. I dont care what people say because i know it's not true.Keep listening to what you like because it's you not them. The first day that school started my binder was coved in michael jackson pixs (believe me!) but they made fun of me. I didnt say nothing..and everybody knows i like him. But i dont care what they think. Michael is cool to me. If you're a real fan..dont worry what they say. Michael is a classic,most people like him. there's millions of other people. tell them to backoff..or ill come down there and make them all shut-up! Lol.

Everybody has at least one favorite MJ song. He was an icon. Who care what your friends think. You're listening to his music, not letting him babysit your kids.

It would be respectable to take into account what your friends think, yeah, but at the end of the day, you're the only person who decides what or who you like, regardless of whether the controversy behind Jackson is true or not! Don't be a sheep and go with what your friends think, just because their opinions seem to outnumber your one =D If you love his music, then keep it on your ipod! There are more ways to fit in y'know...just because you have indifferences over him!

Michael Jackson Is a good singer keep him on the ipod... If your friends judge just by the music you listen to they aren't really your friends...plus many other people like Michael Jackson so if you like it keep it on there
to be honest i really like his music from the thriller days but there's been so many weird stories surrounding him in recent years. just don't show them your ipod but if they're really persistant then just say you really appreciate his music like a lot of other ppl, that doesn't make you a horrible person. i'd be interested to see who THEY have on their ipod
If u like MJ , then stick with it, doesn't matter what ur friends think, or say, if they don't like him, is their problem, we live in a free country, so u like MJ , then go ahead and stay listen to it ! cuz friends should respect each other choice !!

Ive been through that and im still listening to kelly clarkson on my ipod, u just gotta be urself cause we all have secrets, michael jackson its ur guilty pleasure.
Maybe u should create a list with a kind off boring name like, "sleepin songs " or something, that way people wont really feel the need to check out what u got there, but u shouldnt be borrowin ur ipod to anybody, there are ear diseases and stuff...

I bet most of your friends have Amy Winehouse on their iPods (maybe you do as well) - and she's the picture you see when you look up freak in the dictionary.
However - if you can't face the fact Michael Jackson is a little freaky then that's when I'd be worried.
if they're really your friends they won't care. my best friend loves prince, and i give her a hard time for it, but in the end, she's still my friend, and prince isn't going to change that. Not everybody likes the same things, I'm sure you & your friends have other things in common...how boring would it be if we all liked the same things?
