Does anyone agree with me that Brooke White's crying on tonight's Americ!
Question: Lets face it; she obviously wasn't crying because she thought she sucked and would be voted off. She was crying to gain the sympathy vote, "ohhh America, my dreams are coming true. You [the audience] are beautiful."
..she has a gorgeous voice, no doubt, but does anyone agree that her reaction was a little fake and/or overplayed? She gave a reaction as if she'd won the entire competition. I though it was overdone.

Actually, I do agree with you! Mainly because this girl has been preforming in front of people prior to American Idol. I can understand that AI is a big deal but her crying was making her sound like she was just happy to be on stage in front of someone.
I hate American Idol this season because people like brooke who have the chance to make it on their own, are getting boosted to the top faster than those who cannot afford to make it ... *sigh* whateve
I don't think it was fake or undone. She was passionate about the song. It seemed like something that meant a lot to her. Lets face it, the first top 12 night, that's a big dream/goal reached too. It could just be that accomplishment too. I highly doubt it was to win votes.
i think it was neccessary cuz she was prolly just like thinking about being in the top 12 and thinking she did a good job.a little rid but neccessary
