Question: i friend of mine has just returned from mexico and he met and had sex with a very well known actress. she has appeared in many films and is internationaly known. the night they had sex he recorded it all on his camcorder. i have seen it and is definately her! she was well aware she was being filmed and he said she wasn't drunk even though they had both been drinking. my friend now wants to sell this dvd and i should imagine he would be paid a very large sum of money because of who this person is. but could she sue him? is it illegal? i dont particularly agree with what he wants to do as he would be ruining someone's life just to make money. but as i said she was well aware that she was being filmed AND seemed to enjoy the fact she was.

She could sue him, or, he could sell it to a few porn sites without giving his name etc. Then he could make a packet and the porn site would get sued, but it'd all be cool because porn sites make massive amounts of money anyway. And that's what she gets for sha**ing on camera and risking her career. If it's true.....

Well she is very silly to have done that. I think he would probably get away with it..not that I recommend it. It's happened to quite a few famous actors and actresses...Colin Farrell for example.

YES it's illegal and YES she could sue him. Even though you say she was aware and seemed to be enjoying the fact doesn't give him the right to broadcast it. You said they were drinking, well there's her motive against him...all she wrote.
