Michael Jackson To God?!
Question: No people! I am not saying Michael Jackson is God...even though I love him...but Michael Jackson is only human. But here is my question:
In Michael Jackson's song "Earth Song"...He writes very moving lyrics and I totally love that song. However, when I heard it for the first time, for some reason, I felt that he was questioning God through his lyrics.
Here are the Lyrics in the song that I think he is questioning God for (I'm not saying this is a bad thing..just wondering)

Me as a Christian...understands that the line "What about all the peace, that you pledge your only son" probably is talking to God about Jesus (God's son?)

I think Michael is just asking God to help him understand. Sometimes when we are hurting we talk to our father about it. right?

Did u ever stop to notice the crying earth the weeping shores?" he means if WE humans did ever stop to see what we have done to our world! We only care about ourselves and we haven't ever realise that the wars, crime and all these bad things ruined our world. This is how I understand these particular lyrics. Now as 4 the line "What about all the peace that u pledge ur only son" I agree with u. He probably asks God. BUT only in this line he refers to God. The rest of the lyrics reffer to us. MJ tries to make us realise that we should change our habits and ways and try to make the world better! OMG I really love these lyrics... WAKE UP PPL! TIME TO CHANGE THE WORLD!
