I was there at the beginning of his career, having been born in 1951. So, he's been a part of my TV and movie viewing for many decades! I even recall when Jill Ireland was married to David McCallum; they were together 10 years and had three children! McCallum introduced his wife to Bronson while the actors were filming "The Great Escape" (1963).
It would be difficult to name a favorite film, but if I was cornered, I probably would pick "The White Buffalo" in which he portrays Wild Bill Hickok in a mythic meeting with Crazy Horse (Will Sampson). This is one of my favorite Westerns and definitely one of my favorite movies of all time.
