Bob Marley died from a cancerous brain tumor. While playing soccer in France he had re-injured a right toe which didn't heal and became worse and the nail came off. Doctors recommended amputation, but he refused. He later had a skin graft done for his toe, but it wasn't a success. He nearly fainted while performing at a concert and later collapsed when jogging in the park. He was then diagnosed with a brain tumor resulting from his untreated cancerous toe injury. He was given less than a month to live.
