What Do You Think Of The Vogue Cover With Lebron James and The Model?!

Question: There is now this controversy surrounding a Vogue magazine cover which shows NBA star LeBron James and supermodel Gisele Bundchen. A lot of people think the cover screams racist and others thing it is silly to think the cover is racist.

The first thing I thought when I saw the cover has "King Kong". Do you think the magazine did this deliberately to capture attention? Or was it all innocent? What do you think...?

All I know is that never in a million years will I see Lauren Londen with a hot white guy on the cover, thats how I know that it is racism in some form...These are all illusions as to what media thinks is the"It"Factor. I don't get my information or esteem from illusions. So...

People need to get a life...Vogue did it for a reason--for sales...First off its random for Lebron to be on it and not all GQ like but oh well..its different, unique, stands out...I think its great!!

i see nothing wrong with it, its just a stupid picture. why the fuss?

When will it end? The cover screams
that both Lebron James and Gisele Bundchen are at the top of their game.
Why cant we just see two beautiful people...

I have no idea if there's any racism inherent in this photo shoot. I think the bigger issue is the quality of the magazine. I'm not very familiar with Vogue Magazine covers, but I don't think the photo makes a whole lot of sense or is clever in any way, shape, or form. Whoever chose it is a complete and utter buffoon. The only thing this does for me is lower my opinion of the editors of Vogue Magazine.

How sensitive are the people complaining? I dindnt see racism because of the fact that I'm not trying to find it You all are strange backward people for thinking this. Funny how special interest groups cry racism when not enough blacks are included in advertisement yet when companies practice diversity this is what they get. If this is racism then we are doing pretty good as a diverse society. Grow up people, you are only hurting yourselves!!

definitally no racisim involved! what if it was a white person with the same facial expression, would u think the same?!? this is a really pointless situation, i have no idea how people could even possibly think of something that shady and retarted, unless of course you are a racist. obviously lebron is one of the best basketball players of all time, and you don't see him during his games with a huge dainty smile on his face! most guys don't even smile in a picture, this just gives it a bit more of an exaggeration to make the picture stand out with emotion. every now and then people do something that reminds u of something else, it's no big deal. i don't think king kong was any type of racial video either. i strongly think this is a very immature point of view from people just trying to get attention and make a big deal out of nothing.
