I bought Barry Manilow's "Copa Cabana" on 45rpm when I was a kid. !

Answers: Normal?
LOL I've got you topped my friend, I had to go to his concert back in the early 80's!! It scarred me for life. But I swear my ex-wife dragged me there. And I was old enough to know what I was doing. At least as a kid you could blame your parents for raising you wrong! lol I still remember the big fufu shirt he had when he did Copa Cabana.
Hell he's the king of Vegas now!
LOL
Her name was Lola, she was a show girl......
it's not a mortal sin, only a venial one.
I didn't buy the 45 but I loved him when I was kid as well. Still do.
Everyone has a guilty pleasure. :)
Just blame it on childhood ignorance.
You didn't know better.
If it makes you feel better, I had a Village People 8 track when I was a kid.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! that makes you a Fanilow!
No, I think that is very cool. It's a really great song, and it tells a story with a lot of action and intrigue. It has a slightly sarcastic tone to it, but he sings it enthusiastically. The music is pretty good for music in this style of this song. I tend to like anyone who likes this song. I'm not a big Manilow fan, but this is a fine song!
hang on to it , someday it may be worth some money -not because its barry manilow record but because it's a 45!! i have not ever been crazy about him, did seem him in concert once (on a date) but like him even less because of blabber-mouth rosie !! can't even look at that blob of cra-!!
Not really. If you like the song, why be embarrassed about it. Plenty of people bought the 45 of I like short shorts back in the day.
I don't know. I did Copacabana in Show Choir my junior year of High School. I love that song now.
