Question: Why bash a celebrity you don't even know! Why do people become SO obsessed with dissing the career of a famous individual? (For example, look at the last question I answered...)

Because we live in a society that thrives off bashing people. I could name a few celebrities that I can't stand, but do I bash them, NO. What is the point? It's not as though that celebrity knows you and hears what your saying about them. They don't care if you don't like them. They are making their money with or without your bashing them. Some people just have nothing better to do. Kinda like friends that stab you in the back. Ya know, the ones that always talk smack behind your back but are too afraid to say it to your face?
There will always be, til the end of time, haters. I just ignore them. They will eventually shut up when they get no reaction.
when ppl do that how do they know what they are saying is true if everyone is talking trash about him or her

either jealousy or because they feel they don't like them... because of people they don't like, liking them... or they just hate em...no reason at all.. or the celebrity had insulted another celebrity they like....
They maybe jealous or they just can't keep their mouth shut. Yeah, they can say that they dislike that celebrity but swearing and threatning is way beyond.
