OMG both i am a HUGE fan high school musical rocks!!! but if i HAD to choose i'd choose number 2 only because it tells you more to the story if you know what i mean.
i think the 2nd one was better!!=)
Both really sucked.
But if you were to compare,the 1 was slightly better.
2 because it had better songs than 1

Honestly, I really dont think either of them were that great.

One. The songs were pretty good, and the story made sense. In 2, the songs were good, but the story was AWFUL.

high school musical 1, because it's more original. i don't like the scene in the second movie when sharpay and ryan were just talking and talking and talking. but i still like them both (:

hsm 1 because 2 was cheesy and it sorta ruined it but they r making a 3rd so i wonder how that will be.
Definately 1. The second one was too, techno. Gabriella's hair looked horrendous, and Zach Efron just wasn't that great looking.

the first one was dumb....then the second one just totally ruind it like waaaaaaay more than it already was
just think what the 3rd one is gonna be like..omg....horrible!!
I would saw that both movies are great!
the 1st on is really sweet and really easy going and it had great songs!
the 2nd one has way to many songs, but its ok. the songs are catchy too,
but prefered the 1st one.

I've seen both, and I absoloutly LOVE both, but I'd have to say HSM (High School Musical) 1 was my favourite, it's still my most favourite movie. It was better than number 2 because #1 is original, and thats where I felt the magic, it was such a great movie!!!<3
