Why the oldrockers always invite much more fans in the concert halls?!
Question: the old heavy daddies like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, The Eagles, Rolling Stones, AC/DC have invited much more people than any audiences in the various youngster idols - Spice gals, Spears or Black Eyed Pis.s.ed, Jessica Simpson or Pink - shows?

My own pet theory as to why the Daddy Rockers achieve bigger audiences is because of their classic Rock connections with the past, and in particular with the King.
Anyone born after the passing of the King [since Elvis died] was not on the planet when He trod the Earth.

More important still, how about it had you been around when this happened? I was and this was played on the Juke boxes in the town where I lived until the groove was wore out.

Another of my pet theories has a lot to do with what I think of as future perception. For example, today all we get is Global Warming this and Global Warming that. Load of trash if you ask me, but there you have it.
Back in the early days of the Rock on era, we saw pictures of American automobiles in our Rock mags here in UK and dreamed of owning one, or even just getting a ride in one. Think about that word ride for a minute, because it means far more than just being taken around in a car. mmmmmmha!
One think which has puzzled me for years, came in a news-reel commentary [British] about when Elvis was being called up to do his Army [US Army] service. The commentator described Elvis as the 'Emperor of Rock and Roll', not mearly the King. Why didn't that title stick?

The "Oldrockers" have been going for many, many years and therefore have more fans than any of the other 5 minute wonders.
Becos their mature fans are more established and have higher purchasing power than the younger fans. Younger fans are also spoilt for choice with pop music and concerts shows whilst it takes a LONG time before the oldrockers put something together.
