Note: Smoke on the Water came out first, for all those who don't know.

They probably got permission to sample that riff.
But Disney should be sued for the asshattery they push on kids,convincing them that the trash they're spending money on is worth having,like Miley Cyrus and the Barf brothers.
Wow, I never even realized that! But it does sound very similar. I don't think they should be sued though.

they could have asked for permission to use the tune.

They probably got permission for using that tune so, no, Disney shuld not be sued.
no idea i think they would have gotten permisstion if that was an issue but there are a LOT of singer who have VERY similer tune to the song as someone else

They have to get permission and the ppl who "own " the song get money for it
own as in have the rights to the song btw
