What did john jay & rich do today on the radio around 7:00am that made people ma!
Question: John Jay and Rich is an Arizona morning show and I tuned in around 7:15am this morning and everyone was saying how they can't listen to them anymore because of something being offensive but they wouldn't repeat it. I wanted to know if anyone heard it to regurgitate it to me as objectively as possible or if it was just some kind of elaborate April fools joke.

I have NO idea but I am just as curious. I am sitting here trying to Google it. "April Fool's" comes to my mind, but at the same time it seems too real... so I am not sure if they're pulling a REALLY good joke or if something actually happened... I want to know!!
I also want to know. Some one please let us know. I love them and would hate for them to go off of the air. What would I listen to in the morning?
I have been trying to google this also. I usually listen to them earlier, but over slept today. Hopefully someone will post what they said.

i was very confused this morning too, but when i got to work and remembered it was april fools day, i stopped wondering. very nice job john jay and rich, you had me going for awhile.
I find it interesting that more people did NOT hear anything than those that did. I called everyone I know that listens to the show and amazingly, NONE of my friends heard it.
I think it is an elaborate, and ultimately a GREAT April Fool's joke. Look at all of us who have been roped into this! Obviously, I did too, as I Googled to find out what happened. It "happened" just over an hour ago, and NO ONE has blogged the actual incident, but everyone is asking what happened.
I think the cat meowing (which is awesome, I actually looked out of my window thinking a cat was in my yard) is the perfect cover, no one would think that they would pull two pranks at the same time!
I hope I am right (along with the others that think it's a prank, too). Even though Johnjay has a tendency to be offensive and there are times that I have to change the station, I will miss listening to them if it is real and they lose their jobs!
I dunno, I wish I did, I missed it I was at Bikram Yoga! Please let me know! And OMG!!! The cat meowing in the background!!! Driving me CRAZY!!! But I think its A april fools day.
If you actually look at the date on the website listed above, it is from 2006. I really thought that this was all real this morning, but when I got to work and realized that it was April Fool's, I knew that John Jay and Rich were pulling our legs. But the cat thing did also have me going.
"Yeah I turned on the radio at like 7 am and they were talking about what "just happened" and me and my boyfriend were like "what the hell?"...Then we realized what day it was and assumed it was an April Fool's Joke. If it was such a big deal and they wanted it to blow over why would they keep patching phone calls through from people? I just don't know how they got away with randomly having people call in without everyone listening being like "what? this is lame"...Unless at like 6:45 they said "Everyone listening NOW...call in and talk about how you can't believe we did that and how you're never listening to us again. We're playing an April Fool's Joke on everyone that starts listening at 7." That's still pretty lame though. And the cat is freakin annoying."

yeah the cat thing is driving me crazy. i thought it was my roommate's cat. but anyway i think it is an April Fool's day joke , well I hope so. but the only other thing i can think of was when they were talking about Jesse McCartney, and johnjay said fag. with a reference to being gay. but I'm not sure that it would be such a big deal.
Personally I wish John Jay and Rich would be taken off the air. They are now going on with the fake Tom Cruise calling in, just like the 'bad thing' was fake. I wonder why I even got off of The Frank Show at 92.1 KFMA in Tucson. After today I will be listening to them even less.
