Yeah it is pretty dumb. I was just watching a scary movie and it had some really famous person in it, and that makes it not at all scary because you know everything about the person and you realize that its fake. If we didnt know everything about celebs, movies would be so better and more realistic. But I guess thats what makes them celebs.. Some need more of spotlight because they are much better people, but the nice ones never get noticed. They need to leave the sluts alone- those are the ones getting the most attention cuz they take off their clothes!

There's defiently a fascination with celebrities. It bothers me as well, trying to have a conversation with someone about let's say Tibet, they have this blank look on their face and start talking about Britney Spear's life - like that's a bigger tragedy.
My take on celebrities is this. They are very talented people, acting and singing and all that is not easy. BUT most people see them as amazing, super, better then everyone else, type of people and that is not true. I have met a few celebrities in my life, mainly athletes and I do not get nervous around them at all. I see them as on my level just a lot richer :) BUT there is no reason to treat them any different then anyone else. If I met movie stars or singers one day I will just talk to them like any other person and not freak out like some people would.

And the other thing that gets me is that its so easy to get famous now. People don't even have talent, they just go on a reality and fame is handed to them on a plate.
People need to get their own lives! Why give a hoot about celebs? They could give a rat's about you and I! ;-)=
