I don't get why people cry when someone famous starts dating someone--it isn't like the sky is falling.It would make more sense if they were crying because the Jonas Brothers threw something at them and they broke their arm.

We are fans of them, so we have to show how much we care about them. They love how they have so many great fans. I love them for their talent and looks. NOT just looks.
Well they DO go a bit over when enough is enough.
But usually, children don't see the bad in people. And once they are obsessed, they won't stop for a very long time. But fame fades away, just like everything else in this world.

I kind of agree yet kind of disagree. Yes I do think there are a few fans that go overboard. But most of us just admire them for all that they do. I mean look at Nick! He's showed everybody with diabetes that they can keep living a normal life and that it doesn't have to slow you down. But yeah there are some fans that go overboard...
I think that the Jonas Brothers are more well-liked not just because of their talent and good looks, but also because they are featured on the Disney Channel. Therefore, many pre-teenagers find them AMAZING, just because they feel connected with the Disney Channel. So, yes, I do think that girls go overboard with the Jonas Brothers.

Not all fans are, like me for instance. Most of their fans only like them for their looks over their talent. That is so not right! And Yes, I also agree with you, those crazy fans do go overboard! I mean COME ON! They are just lucky guys that have great talent and happen to have great looks also. But that shouldn't be the ONLY reason they are obsessed over Nick, Kevin, and Joe. Haven't they learned that looks don't make a person, but who they are does??? America and the rest of the world only care about looks and it is NOT OK. (At least I don't think so) Yeah, maybe it is OK to cry is they hugged you or something, but not when you are at their concert, sitting 25 rows from the stage! That's just messed up.
I think it's cute when girls cry over them! It just proves how much their fans care about them.
I would consider myself a big fan.. and people I know would consider me an obsessed fan. But I don't consider myself obsessed compared to other girls. I don't have posters on my walls, I wouldn't spend more than 15 dollars on anything Jonas related.. I'm not like that. If I ever saw them on the street, I'd stare and be like "Oh my gosh." but then I'd walk away. They're my heroes and their music has helped me so much.. but it's not like they're my life, you know? But I also have issues with "idolizing" and "obsessing" over earthly beings. It's just a personal peculiarity that I'd rather not do.
I think there AWESOME!
