HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL ??? just got the box set with concert why was zac effron not!
Question: I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but it wasn't his voice used for the first movie. He has a low voice and they needed more of a tenor. That's why his voice sounds so different from the first one and the second one.

well i heard he couldn't sing well enough..
as you can tell since he didn't do his singing on
high school musical..
plus he was filming hairspray..
and in a magazine he also said
he didn't want to because he was sick of
hearing those songs..
if he had to hear them one more time
he'd jump off a building or something..

Drew Seeley replaced Zac for all High School Musical concerts. Zac was filming Hairspray but his voice was mixed with Drew Seeley's in the movie High School Musical and Zac...well he couldn't sing well so they just threw Drew Seeley for everything.
