Why does some people have fame and fortune and others have Famine?!

Question: Don't you think it's a bit unfair???

Stars and celebrities have no money worries, us ordinary folk scrape by with debts, then look at some of these unfortunate countries who can't even buy a bowl of rice.

I know we try and help them, but really why does some people have it all and others have to go without.

I thought we came into this world all equal (with nothing), but it seems some of us are favored by the big guy above than others???

possible reasons:

1) the poor are actually lucky in that they have the opportunity to stengthen their character. i dont agree wth this cos if fate just had it that the person didnt have to suffer in the 1st place, then there'd be no point to become resilient (ie. what's the point of learning to shoot a gun if there's never gonna be a war??)

2) wealth/luck discrepancies exist to give people the opportunity to be kind, helpful & giving to each other. to that, i ask, who wants to be the charity case when they can be the almighty giver???

3) buddhists say it's karma (ie those who have been bad in their past life will be reborn into a harder life). i dont like this theory either cos it claims that those who suffer deserve it

4) it's darwinism (survival of the fittest). all creatures incl humans have the natural inclination to wanna trump others

5) it's a neccessary feature for society to keep on running smoothly (ie if we were all equals who would clean the gutters?)

none of my answers are satisfactory to answer this Q, & i can tell u now that u wont find a single person who can answer it satisfactorily cos it's one of those "meaning of life" type Qs.

I really rather pity the ones that have it all now; they haven't had the opportunity to build character, as hardship does. Those of us who are less fortunate are truly blessed in spirit, so I really wouldn't say that our Lord is showing them more favor. After all, many of them end in drug-related troubles, even death, and bankruptcy, loss of privacy, etc. I'd much rather continue to be as I am and walk with God than have their purported "blessings". You can't take it with you.

ummm....The World is Ending....
I think that's why lol
