Judy Garland, the little girl from Wizard of Oz. She had a pretty tragic life and she did other famous movies besides Wizard of Oz. She is also an amazing singer.
Her life is quite interesting, you can find videos, cds, books, internet sites on her quite easily. I did my project on her and I did a powerpoint picture, showed a clip of another one of her movies, and gave a summary of her life.
Some tidbits to get you interested: She married 5 times, her daughter is the famous Liza Minelli, she was addicted to drugs, terribly troubled in her mind throughout her whole life, overworked, and died of overdose.
