the other American Idol shows are live. but, Idol Gives Back was actually recorded on Sunday!

most things that are "live" are pre-recorded so that producers can make sure its safe for all audiences (janet @ super bowl...)

ya, it was obvious @ the end, when ben stiller walks on the stage, they couldn't just block the words if it was live. april 6th was if u were gana go 2 the performance.
