Always have. I have thousands of records, and I worked in country radio in the '80s. One of the first rock albums I remember buying was American Fool. Loved Hurt So Good and of course Jack & Diane. Later, I got to play Small Town on that country radio station because we lived in a small town and the boss let us. Cherry Bomb and Paper In Fire were favorites too, and ROCK In The USA. I'd say I'm a pretty big Mellencamp fan.

He is AMAZING! I saw him years ago with my daddy and we had the best time! You think his albums are great?! You need to see him live! Such AMAZING stage presence and charisma! His voice is so raw, yet refined!
Yes!!! He has a really unique voice. I personally like "Ain't Even Done With the Night". It's just so simple and beautiful. My other favorites are "This Time" and "Hurt So Good". I would have loved to have been around in the 80's so I could see him at his prime...sigh...
