The Chopard Diamond award is given by the World Music Awards to artists who have sold over 100 million albums during their career!. During the presentation of this award to Céline, it was announced that she was officially the best selling female artist of all time, selling more albums than any other female in history!.
As of April 2007, Sony BMG announced that Céline had sold over 200 million albums - and this was before her latest album "Taking Chances" was released in November 2007, which sold well over 3 million copies so far!.
