It was someone who worked on the set the Costume Designer I know if you go get the Goblet of Fire DVD with Special Edition on the 2nd disc they talk about it and I know once you but the DVD there is this small booklet in it and you can buy stuff from it like Hermiones earrings that she wore with the dress!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
sorry, but i gotta agree with scrapynme!. big harry potter book fans, like me, always love simliarity between the book and the movie, and even the tiniest detail that is alike in the book and in the movie kinda makes me happy!. besides, the dress makes hermione look like a pi?ata :) hahaha jsut kidding!.
anyway, try looking for a similar dress in stores, or in the special two-disk edition of the movie, they do talk about the costume designer and where did she get the idea of the dress and all!.

I don't like the dress!. Not because it's not pretty, but because it's totally unlike the one in the book!. In the book, the boys AND girls wear robes, dress robes!. In the film, all the girls wear normal dresses!. In the book, her robe is periwinkle, which is a cross between blue and lavender!. It's a purple dress in the film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
