Carey was my Dad's middle name and I was named after him!. My first name is Carey, and I never had a problem with that until about 15 years ago when some people started saying I had a girl's name!. It's in the baby name books under both boys and girls and means "castle dweller"!. There are worse names for a boy to be called, such as Kim, Carol, Claire, Sean, etc!.
