Question: Do you think celebrities are selfish!?
I was just reading an article about star's payments to appear in places!. They are payed a LOT of money just to show up at a new club or mall!.
If Ashlee Simpson or Justin Timberlake used the money from just one visit, they could put maybe 30 kids through school!.
They could help one or two impoverished children got through a nice college in the US!.
Are they selfish for seeing a need that they can fill, and instead buying yet another ring!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well part of that payment goes to their manager for setting up that appearence date and time!. Agents and managers get part of what they make so they don't get all that money to themselves!.
They have Actor Union dues to pay either each year or every month!. I think it goes up depending on what they make plus they have big expenses to pay because after paying managers, agents, union fees, new photo's shots and probably uncle sam his share!. Plus household expenses!.!.!.!.what's left over is their's to do what they please!.
Alot of times thats probably why you'll find the big time actors competeing for major roles is because the more money they have taken out for what I mentioned above and spend on themselves they pretty much feel they hardly have any left!.
There are lots of actors/actresses out there who do charity events for the homeless, aids, hurricane victims!. MAW (Make A Wish)!. As well to impoverished children as well!.

So they don't get to keep ALL the money they make!. What reasons they may have for not using their money for good deeds is I have no idea!. Maybe one day you can ask them if or when you accidently bump into them in public!.
Better yet find out where you can contact them, write a letter explain what you just asked here and wait awhile see if they respond back!. It won't be right away!. See what they say!.
Bringing this to their attention yourself thru maybe letter writing might show them that your concerned to why they can't do more!. The worse thing they can do is ignore you!.
If you had the money you could start a benefit college fund raising for the children you were just talking about and invite celebrities!. But do it as a volunteer thing who knows they might do it for none fee since its a worthy cause!.

i think some are!.!.i was listening to the radio and this singer (forgot the name p didy whatever lol) has been added to the walk of fame!.!.and spent 2 million on his party! i mean come on just think how many lives he could help or people he could save of the streets with that!. The majority might be selfish, but they built up their names and get compensated for it!. Not unfair if you look at it in that way!. Can you with surity say that you would do all those good deeds if you were suddenly a superstar!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
I believe the majority are selfish!. They try to show their not by throwing in some charity events!. I do think there are some out there that are good people first person came to mind was Oprah!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
