I think Prince wasn't as "mainstream" in popularity as Madonna was in the 80's!. Prince's target audiance was primairly an R&B crowd although his music has pop, rock, and R&B, and soul influances!. And while Madonna was out for shock value!.!.!.she pretty much got along with her music company reps!. Prince on the other hand has burned some bridges in that department!. If the music company doesnt back you, your music won't get played and the artist doesn't get exposure!. Prince is a great performer and and musician!. He's an icon in his own right!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
