I don't think someone would have kids just to "spite" someone!.
Having kids is a big deal, and it's not something you can just do over if it doesn't work out!.

Brad Pitt is a big boy and can make his own decisions!. Angelina isn't a homewrecker!. Celebrities change girlfriends/boyfriends as often as they change their hair color!.
