my mom heard a rumor that the winner doesn't perform!.!.!.
i disagreed with her but i just want to be sure that it isn't true, & the winner goes on the tour as well!?

Yes, I went last year and Jordin performed for like half of the show! They have a contract with Idol that forces them to sing at the tour and also come back and sing on American Idol in future seasons whenever they are told to!. I know, I LOVE DAVID COOK! He's so much better than Archie but Jason Castro was my fave-but now I'm voting for David Cook!Www@Enter-QA@Com
In previous years the winner has also gone on tour!. It's part of their contract or one of the obligations they have to fulfill by signing on with the show!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
