A lot of posters here have mentioned society and Hollywood's obsession with youth, which I definately agree is a big part of the issue!. But I think it's only part of the issue!.
Lots of the surgeries people get have nothing to do with age!. Take rhinoplasty (a nose job) for example!. That has nothing to do with aging but rather, is symptiomatic of an unhealthy, ultra-perfectionistic beauty standard!. If get your job based primarily on your physical appearance, as is usually the case with celebrities, you are in a place that is very vulnerable to becoming obsessed with every so-called imperfection!. You are locked in a competition to be the best (i!.e!., the best looking) and your perception becomes warped and twisted!. You become willing to undergo almost any surgical procedure, as long as it is "guaranteed" to make you more "beautiful!." And as always, the "everybody is doing it" mentality plays a role!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

As the previous posters stated, there are still so many
beautiful actresses in Hollywood, and they are being
upstaged by younger and younger girls all the time!.
Sad, because the 35 + actresses are more talented, too!.

They are afraid of getting old!. Hollywood is youth obsessed!. More and more young starlets are coming in a pushing the old guard out of the limelight!. Wrinkles aren't very sexy in Tinseltown!. Neither is cellulite and saddle bags!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
