NOT THAT THEY'RE EVEN IN THE SAME BALL PARK, but that's kind of like asking if James Dean was overrated or a flash in the pan-- seeing as he only did 3 movies before he died!. There was no way to tell if he would burn out/fade away/or being a hero for ever!.
It doesn't matter if Heath Ledger only did 1 movie or 100 movies!.!.!. he had talent!. And obviously if he had the guts to do a movie like Brokeback Mountian (though it was pretty boring IMO), he must have had brass ones (if you know what i mean)!.
And I don't think its offensive to ask that question, like some people answered on here!. Its a completely legitimate question, if you really are wondering about!. Just because someone died, doesn't mean we have to act like they were iconic or gods!. Or martyrs for that matter!.
Look at Anna Nicole Smith, she was the friggin' laughing stock of Hollywood when she was alive!. But then when she died, everyone treated her like she was Marilyn Monroe or something!. And let me just say!.!.!. she was NO Marilyn Monroe!.
But if you really truly think Heath Ledger was overrated BEFORE he died, then that's just your opinion!. If you think he's overrated AFTER he died, then that could very well be fact!.!.!. people suddenly fall in love with tragic figures of Hollywood and turn them into gods of their times (some deserve, some don't)Www@Enter-QA@Com
