Question: Why did the beatles break up!?
I heard from a friend of a friend who knew Ringo's maid that the Beatles broke up because Yoko Ono was interfering with their work!. Someone please tell me what really happened!. Im losing sleep,weight and body hair over this!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Everybody blames Yoko, poor thing!. It's not all her fault!.
The band was doomed to break up from the start - four superstars, four drastically different personalities!. Four clashing egos!. The only glue that held them together was Brian Epstein, their first manager!. He was a gay guy who loved John (and I don't think John discouraged him, frankly) and pulled them together, taught them a few manners, cleaned them up, and presented them to the UK and America, as I recall!. When he died, that was the beginning of the end (1967!? 1968!?)!. Then they fought over who would be their new manager; three wanted Allan Klein!. Paul McCartney wanted his brother-in-law!. They fought over it viciously!. Allan Klein it was, but nobody could fill Epstein's shoes!.
Then there was Linda; nobody liked her except Paul!. Nobody liked Yoko except John!. George had an affair with Ringo's wife, which caused Ringo and Maureen to divorce!. George's wife, none too happy either, dumped him and married Eric Clapton, who had written "Layla" for her, but I digress!!
Then there was the Lennon/McCartney vs!. Harrison feud!. Many of Harrison's best songs were trashed in favor of really crappy L/M songs, especially in the White Album!. And let's not even get started on the drugs, drugs, drugs!.

John left the band because of the evil Yoko's influence!. Actually, though, he and Paul had a lot of differences of opinion during the last years and that made working together difficult!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
