I heard on this youtubevideo with James Dean & Paul Newman & It said something about do u think u can get the bobby socks lead!. Paul said no & Jimmy said yeah all that wanna go!. What does that mean/ what are the bobby sock!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Bobby sox was a type of sock worn by teenage girls in that era!.
They were kind of like white atheletic socks rolled down!. They were worn with saddle shoes or penny loafers!.
So the question Newman was asking was do you think you will get the part (lead) that will lure the teenage girls into the theatres!.

The only time i've seen a video of Newman and Dean together were the early casting tests for East of Eden!. (Dick Davalos got the part, of course) where they were teasing each other!.
