It is a very emotional topic for him and his family that devastated them all!.That song is actually based on his diabetes!. He wrote it one day when his blood sugar was acting crazy and was bummed out!. He said to people magazine: "It's actually a song that has to do with diabetes!. We were up in Canada filming Camp Rock!. It was one of those days when my blood sugar was a little out of control, and I was kinda bumming!. I walked by this room in the hotel we were staying at, and it was all so weird - all of the sudden there was this big ballroom with a piano in it!. It was like a scene out of a movie!. So I went in there, sat down at the piano and wrote the song!. Later on I played it for the cast, and they all loved it!."Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't know what it's like!.
But I'm sure it's terrible!.
The best thing to do is imagine yourself up on stage!. Imagine you're singing that song!. You said you have diabetes, right!? So while you're singing, you'd probably be thinking about how long you've waited!.!. and how much you want that cure!.!. and wondering if it will ever come!?
It will!. I can promise you that!. Science is getting much better!. They've even made a new thing where you don't have to take the blood tests! But it does the same thing!. I saw a commercial for it!.
But while you were 'on stage', were you crying!?

it is true!. he has diabetes!. he had lost a family member with diabetes, he wrote the song for his family member!. every time he sings the song he thinks about the story!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
