First of all, you have to have talent if you want to be a star and not just a celebrity (and there's a big difference between the two)!. Second, no matter how talented you are, there is a good amount of luck involved, such as being at the right place at the right time and knowing when to take advantage of every opportunity that might come your way (this could include charity events, etc!. - you never know who could be in the audience, although I think just walking into a mall and breaking into song would classify as a little on the odd side)!. Third, try to get representation!. Fourth, especially if you are more interested in being an actress than a singer, enroll in acting classes (if you have talent, a number of schools will take you on without tuition)!. Learn your craft - I don't know of anybody who can just walk out onto a sound stage full of professionals and hold their own without having some training, especially in film/television!. Last, make sure you are prepared for rejection, possibly lots of it!. It is a statistic that only 5% of those people who classify themselves as a performer earn enough money each year to live, so you can see competition is fierce for even the smallest opportunity!.!.!.!.all that said, if you really have talent, play to your strenghs, have professional photos made and start hitting the pavement - first of all to any A & R (Artists & Reportoire) agents you can find!. Think about all the cons: People constantly following you, paparazzi, people critisizing you for what you love, people making a big deal out of every bad move you make, people recognizing you and following you everywhere you go!. yea u could go to the mall and sing but that'd b kinda embarrsing!.!.!. i would write a great song, mix it with a instrument, and make a video of my song on you tube! tons of people have gotton famous on you tube like Taylor Swift!Www@Enter-QA@Com
