OMG! I didn't even know it!. I'm a really big Golden Girls fan!. I loved her as Sophia too!. The last thing I heard about her was that her health and memory was really deteriorating and she couldn't remember the other Golden Girls at all!. It was so sad!. And she will be missed!. At least we can, in a way, still celebrate her life!. I still watch the reruns on dvd!. Her smart and quirky comments always make me laugh no matter how many times I watch an episode!. One of my favorite moments was when her character was playing a game with Rose's mother and Rose's mom exclaimed that she had so many pretzel sticks!. Sophia got mad/jealous and crushed them with her fist and said "Now you got pretzel dust!" LOL!

She was great, I loved her on that show!. I wish they hadn't ended the show but if she had dementia, she wouldn't have been able to be on it anyway!. It will always stand the test of time, of a great comedy!!!!

Yeah, my wife called me, she was so shocked!.!.!.!.!.she's a big Golden Girls fan!. She was suffering with Alzheimer's so it was a blessing!. My grandmother had it and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
