They're not!. They write good lyrics with meaning, they're not cheesy sh!t like off Disney!. They deserve respect even if you don't like their music!. The emo scene is something the media created, NOT mcr or any other rock band!. Gerard Way even says, "emo's a pile of crap"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The music isn't as bad as say miley cyrus or jb, but I think its because of the fans "OMG how dare you say that!" they get extremely defensive with even one bad word about MCR!. Because Gerard compared himself to FREDDIE MERCURY!.
