Okay!.!. I am also on my way of becoming a musician!.!. but I'm not just going to sing!.!. I'm also a guitarist and a pianist and I write my own songs!.
If you want to become a singer!.!. you need to show these record companies that you've got what it takes!. Practice your singing!. Get really good!. And make sure you've got a style that'll catch people's attention!.
If you can't sing well!.!. ask your parents about a vocal coach!. Mine told me only 1% of the human population is unable to sing!. Everyone can have a voice!.!. but not everyone can have an amazing voice!. You can still have a decent enough one and if your songs are good!.!. then you're good!. :D
Start writing songs!. Since you're 11!.!. BTW you're a little young for this site!.!. lol!. You might need the help of someone older!. Songwriting isn't hard once you start doing it a lot!. But don't throw together just anything!. You're gonna need to get something good!. Check the links I have below to see what you need to do!. And remember no one likes songs that are too sappy or have overused phrases/lines in lyrics!.
You can also do covers (redos)!.!. but you'll need an agent to get permission!.
Can you play instruments!? If you play the clarinet or tuba!.!. then that doesn't really matter!. But if you can play instruments such as piano or guitar or violin!.!. I bet record companies will be interested in that!. If you don't, that's okay!.
Get connections!. I am a movie scriptwriter!.!. but I would not have become one if it weren't for my dad's friend who happens to be a big-time Hollywood Screenwriter!. So if you know anyone who has any form of connections to Hollywood!.!. get in touch!. But don't do so until you have everything ready because otherwise it's unproffesional!.
I would ask your parents about that!. Ask your friends too!. Its a small world!. You'd be surprised what connections you have!.

Well, you should probably get voice lessons!.!.!. your voice lessons teacher will help you develop your voice!. Becoming a singer can be really hard, you would have to be discovered by a record label and signed so you could start making Cd's!. Since you're only 11 you should just work on developing your voice and learning how to use it!!!! If you can't get voice lessons, just sing all you can and you could have your friends help you, like you could sing for them and they could tell you whether you sounded good or bad!. Or maybe your mom or a friend who takes voice lessons could help you!. You should enter any talent show you can!. You could post a video on you-tube of you singing and if I were you, I would go join the school choir!!!!! Go for your dreams and I hope these ideas help you!!!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

A lot of people want to be singers, like me!. Try putting your singing up on apuiblic site like YouTube!. If you get good reviews from the members, then maybe you are good!. But dont go on American Idol and not be good and make a fool out of yourself lol!. You never know who is watching your videos on YouTube!. For all you know, a talent agent can be watching your videos and may want to support you!. Just focus on putting some videos on a public site for more opinions and get some singing lessons to brush up on your skills!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

U should start off by doing local talent shows, Take any performing gig u can and do your best!. If its meant to be its meant to be!. Im 11 too and I'd like too become a singer too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
