IF we stopped paying attention to CERTAIN celebs, stopped going to their concerts( the worthless CELEBS) stop going to the movies buying celeb magazines and doing everything else that contributes their their lavish selfish fake lifestyles that they will take a hike!?
I DONT think it is fair that the REST of us STRUGGLE to make ends meet pay bills and there they are drinking away and snorting our hard earned cash up their noses and going on pathetic shopping sprees spending 1000's!. They are WAY TO OVERPAID!!!
And we as the average working person struggle to put food on the table
pay bills ect !. and keep a roof over our heads Why are we FOOLISH ENOUGH TO LINE THIER POCKETS WITH GOLD
YES! Even people with masters degrees TODAY cant get a job!
When some of them did not even graduate!

The down side to the celebrity lives you are talking about is that, to their investors and to their public, the celebrities are, in essence, no longer individual humans but commodities, objects!. They make a lot of money in return for choosing to live not as themselves, but as mirrors for the projected hopes and hatreds of other people!. Imagine if your photo was in magazines everywhere for people to say and do who knows what to!? I can understand why some traditional cultures did not like their photo taken---it steals their soul, they lose control of their image!.!.!.!.!.
You are right---they would go away if no one paid attention to them!. That's the law of supply and demand, when there is no agenda other than making money off of one of and endless supply of commodities!. If there is no demand for a celebrity, they will be ruthlessly replaced by someone that the $$$ structure can make a profit on!.
The best thing about not buying any of that stuff and not paying attention to them is that, as far as YOU are concerned, they no longer exist! Most celebrities have Zero effect on us except insofar as we allow them to enter our consciousness!. Whether they go away for everyone else or not doesn't matter, because your own consciousness is cleared of the negative feelings they provoke in you, and frees you from that distraction so that you can focus on things of quality!.
