Question: My agent wants me to audition with Disney!?!? HELP!
So, I am a 17 yr old aspiring singer from New Jersey, and my agent, out of nowhere, tells me that she booked me for an audition with Disney for this upcoming fall!.
See, the problem is, Disney is, well, not my thing!.
I don't really listen or watch anything Disney, and i really don't want to be a "sweet little innocent girl" my entire life!.!.!.
and I'm already working on a contract with Columbia Records,
Please help!!? what should i do!?

Well if you simply don't what to then tell your agent that!. However, if I were you I'd do the audition!. You never know whether things could go wrong with Columbia Records and you could have something to fall back on!. I believe that successful people don't always start doing exactly what they want, but sometimes have had to do some things they didn't want to!. So I'd say you go for it and you're bound to learn something new and that'll help you in your career!.

You should audition just to get more experience with a variety of auditions!. Like, where else are you gonna find auditions like Disney does them!? Think about it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If Disney Channel isn't your thing, don't do it!. I personally think that being a Disney Channel star is more detrimental to your career than anything else!. Have you seen how these stars end up!? They're labeled good girls for life and if you try to break out of that mold than you're labeled the poser or the wannabe, etc!. Even talented girls are bashed just for being Disney Girls!.!.!. Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato for example!. If you want to be taken seriously in the entertainment business, go in a different direction!.
On the other hand, Disney is very fun!. You get to be on a cute and relaxed show!. You don't really have to be serious because you're basically acting out normal life on the camera (which can be bad)!. The Disney Channel has lots of fun activities and close-knit actors!. They're like a family!. If you want a fun invite into the entertainment business, go for Disney!.
